This is the story of how ACT began…

Back some years ago, Michael Schwartz owner of Requip Corporation started receiving phone calls from customers with questions and concerns about the new California Air Resources Board regulations.  He was aware of these new regulations and had already done research into how they would affect Requip and the products it sells.  He and his customers shared the same concerns about the impact these new regulations would have on their businesses. Michael wanting to help, would discuss the regulations with his customers, their impact and what they both needed to do to comply. He would direct them to the Air Resources Board website and where to find specific regulations and forms.

What happened next is how ACT Compliance was born.  The customer would inevitably call back and say

“I spent a number of hours reading the regulation and now I am even more confused. Do you know anyone that can handle this for me?”

This question was heard over and over and showed there was a need not only for his customers, but a need for almost everyone trying to understand and navigate the Air Resources Board’s regulations. So ACT Compliance was formed.  Michael enlisted Dan Green, a current Requip employee, to head up ACT Compliance.

ACT Compliance was created with the following goals

From Then to Now
